This Quick Start Guide is designed to help you feel confident using Givly from the moment you sign in. No technical background required — just follow these simple steps.
Step 1: Create or Join Your Organization
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be prompted to either:
- Create a new organization, or
- Join an existing one if you’ve been invited
This sets the foundation for everything you do inside Givly.
Step 2: Complete Your Profile
Your profile helps personalize your experience.
You can:
- Add your name and roles
- Upload a photo (optional)
- Adjust basic settings
It takes just a few moments and helps your team recognize you.
Step 3: Explore Your Dashboard
Your dashboard is your home base inside Givly. From here, you can access:
- Your organization
- Opportunities and talent tools
- Campaigns and events
- GivlyAI
- Settings
Everything is organized to keep things simple and easy to follow.
Step 4: Try Givly Assistant
Givly Assistant can help you write, summarize, plan, and generate ideas.
To try it, open the Givly assistant and ask your first question.
Examples:
- "Help me write a volunteer opportunity."
- "Summarize this report."
- "Draft a message to my donors."
Step 5: Get Familiar with Key Actions
A few helpful things you can do right away:
- Create your first opportunity
- Set up a campaign or event
- Explore impact surveys
- View your organization’s information
You don’t need to do everything at once, just start where you feel comfortable.
